The following are the recommended paperboard combinations for corresponding load-bearing capacities. Due to variations in the physical properties of base paper for paperboard across regions, designers may select paperboard with similar physical properties based on local procurement practices.

Limited by performance indicators, conventional display stands are usually packaged separately from products. During display, the stands must be assembled before placing products, which consumes substantial labor and time costs. As e-commerce platforms such as Tmall Supermarket and Amazon have successively launched unmanned supermarkets, rising labor costs have been reduced, checkout time for customers shortened, and overall shopping experience improved. Pallet display stands are designed specifically to save time for product shelving and arrangement. It is believed that such convenient and efficient display stands will gain increasing attention from merchants in the future, with broad market potential.
To prevent physical damage such as collapse and breakage of products and display stands during transportation, the performance indicators of corrugated paperboard must meet specific standard requirements. Based on the structural characteristics of display stands, this paper classifies and codes them, and proposes requirements for the bursting strength and edge crush strength of corrugated paperboard according to product weight and display stand structure. It aims to provide theoretical references for designers and customers, so as to realize efficient development and application of corrugated paperboard display stands.
