The Story of Customizing 500 cardboard counter display rack for a Clean Beauty Brand
In the business world, providing unique and high-quality display solutions is crucial. Our company, topwon, received an order in May 2024 from a clean beauty brand for 500 cardboard counter display racks. This began an interesting journey of customization.
May: Receiving the Order
In May 2024, Wendy from our topwon company got a new order. It was from a clean beauty brand which had various boxed products and wanted 500 cardboard counter display racks.
Design Conception
In the early May, Wendy immediately joined the design team. They communicated deeply with the customer. The customer clearly stated that they only wanted a 12 – ounce container similar to the shape of a can and didn’t need text customization. The design team started to think hard, looking through various materials and referring to the designs of other similar display racks, and then sketched out the initial design on paper.
Design Perfection
In the middle of May, the design team showed the initial sketch to the customer. The customer put forward some modification suggestions, such as adjusting the height of the display rack and making the arc of the can shape more natural. According to these suggestions, the design team used professional software on the computer to modify and perfect it and drew a more accurate design drawing.
Material Selection
In the late May, after the design drawing was determined, we began to select materials. The purchasing staff went to several suppliers to compare the quality, thickness, and price of different cardboard. Finally, they selected the cardboard with good quality and meeting the cost requirements, as well as some other auxiliary materials, such as the glue for fixing.
Mold Making
At the beginning of June, we made a special mold according to the design drawing. The workers carefully operated the machine to cut the cardboard according to the shape of the mold. This process requires high precision and there can be no slightest deviation.
Component Assembly
In the middle of June, the cut cardboard components began to be assembled. The workers folded each part according to the design requirements, then glued them together and fixed some key parts with nails to ensure the structure of the display rack is stable.
Multiple Quality Inspections
In July, most of the display racks were almost assembled. The quality inspectors started to be busy. They checked each display rack one by one. First, they checked the appearance to see if there were any scratches or stains, and then checked the structure to see if it was firm. Once a problematic display rack was found, it was immediately sent back to the production line for repair. Moreover, the quality inspectors would randomly select some display racks for load – bearing tests and other inspections to ensure the quality passed.
Fine Packaging
In August, all the display racks passed the strict quality inspection. We began to carry out fine packaging. First, we put a layer of protective plastic film on the outside of the display rack, and then put it into a customized carton. The carton also printed the customer’s brand logo.
Timely Delivery
Finally, we contacted a reliable logistics company and sent the 500 packaged display racks to the customer on time at the end of August. After receiving them, the customer was very satisfied with the display racks and thought they could display their products well. Wendy was also praised for completing this order excellently.
In conclusion, through a series of careful processes from receiving the order to delivery, we successfully customized 500 display racks that met the customer’s requirements.
