Phone Accessory Countertop Display Case
This case study features a client from 2023, also based in the United States. We’ve been working on this project for quite some time, and our attentive and professional team member, Jessica, managed the entire process, earning the client’s full approval. Below, Topwon will walk you through how we created a custom display rack for this client, step by step.
October 8, 2023: Customer Inquiry & Need Communication
A large US electronic retail chain contacted Topwon. Their store’s phone accessories—like charging cables, phone cases, and screen protectors—were messy on ordinary shelves. Customers struggled to find what they wanted, and many accessories became slow-selling. Clerks spent hours tidying shelves every day, and promotional products couldn’t stand out. Jessica took over the order immediately, listened carefully, and wrote down all the customer’s needs.
October 12, 2023: Initial Plan & Quotation
Jessica made a preliminary plan for a countertop multi-compartment display rack based on the store’s situation. She clarified the structure, material, and placement, and gave a quotation. The customer agreed the same day.
October 18, 2023: Design Confirmation & Revision
The designer made a 2D effect drawing, and Jessica sent it to the customer for review. The customer asked to adjust the compartment size, LOGO position, and promotion area layout. Jessica worked with the designer to revise it repeatedly until the customer was 100% satisfied.
October 25, 2023: Sample Making & Confirmation
The factory made a physical sample according to the final design. They took photos and sent the sample to the customer for inspection. After the customer confirmed the sample was strong, the size was right, and the printing was clear, they placed a bulk order.
November 5, 2023: Mass Production Start
After receiving the order, the workshop arranged production. They used B-flute corrugated cardboard and strictly cut, printed, slotted, and bonded it. Jessica followed the production progress closely and checked the quality regularly.
November 20, 2023: Bulk Inspection & Packaging
When production finished, Jessica led the inspection of the finished products. She checked the appearance, size, and firmness. After passing the inspection, she packed them properly to avoid damage during transportation.
November 28, 2023: Shipment & Logistics Tracking
After inspection, they shipped the products. Jessica provided the logistics tracking number and followed the transportation status all the way to ensure the goods arrived safely at the US port on time.
December 15, 2023: Store Installation Across the US
The displays arrived at hundreds of stores across the US and were put into use. The messy accessory area became clean and tidy. Customers could find products easily, and impulse purchases increased a lot. Clerks spent much less time tidying shelves.
December 25, 2023: After-Sales Follow-Up & Feedback
Jessica took the initiative to contact the customer, collected feedback from the stores, and answered questions about installation and placement. The customer was very satisfied with the display effect.
February 2024: Result Review & Long-Term Cooperation
Two months after installation, the customer shared great results:
- Phone accessory sales increased by 45%
- Clerks’ tidying time decreased by 70%
- 85% of stores said customers stayed longer and bought more related products
- Production and logistics costs decreased by 25%
